This policy explains how and when PetNurture cites the sources behind its educational content.

When We Cite Sources

Where an article draws on specific external material, that article includes a References section listing the sources actually used. Not every article includes this section — it only appears when relevant sources were used to research that specific topic.

Types of Sources We May Reference

Depending on the topic, references may include publicly available material from organisations such as the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the ASPCA, Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, the Merck Veterinary Manual, government resources, and peer-reviewed publications.

What We Don't Claim

Referencing a publicly available resource does not imply that the organisation has reviewed, endorsed, or partnered with PetNurture in any way. We are not affiliated with the organisations listed above.
